Evernote is not only an app. The company's mission was to become an ecosystem for thinking about the organization of information, especially smart uses of paper. The products we designed for Evernote were all integrated with their app or supported their overall goal. We helped them create products in partnership with 3M, Fujitsu, Côte&Ciel, and others.
Evernote Card Case
This product is not simply a business card case - it is integrated with Evernote’s character recognition software to allow a smartphone to snap a picture of a business card, and automatically recreate it as a digital note. The perforated texture of the exterior helps the camera recognize the image as a business card.
Evernote + Post-it
Evernote partnered with 3M to allow the Evernote app to capture Post-It notes and their content through optical character recognition software. We designed a system of organizers for the pads, branded Evernote/Post-it.
Evernote Partner Product Standards
We worked closely with Evernote’s product team developing consistent specifications for color, materials, finishes, and marking. These included a diverse range of Evernote branded products, from softgoods to hardware, and materials from injection molded plastics and metal, to fabric and wood.
